I am an American. I was born and raised to believe in mother’s apple pie, baseball, freedom, and Old Glory. If the nation I thought I grew up in ever really existed one thing is certain: it has been hijacked. We are on the brink of living in a society that will no longer tolerate free speech. A man who made a remark about a "burning Bush" during the president's March 2001 trip to Sioux Falls was sentenced to 37 months in prison. Also a man in a NY mall who refused to take off a t-shirt that said “give peace a chance” and “peace on earth" was arrested. Totalitarian legislation has been passed that greatly undermines the very principles that this nation was founded under as contained in the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights. The USA Patriot Act (HR 3162) and The Department of Homeland Security (HR 5170) have curtailed civil rights in an unprecedented way. Do you really think this will be the extent of the control? Even though the Center For Public Integrity announced on February 7, 2003 that they had been leaked a draft of the Domestic Security Enhancement Act of 2003, the Attorney General told Congress last week that there is no Patriot Act II. Fortunately not all of us will take this lying down. The Bill of Rights Defense Committee has, as of this writing, documented 66 cities and towns that have passed resolutions protecting their civil liberties. I have also read that some states are drafting or passing similar resolutions. To anyone that would suggest that communicating this information is unpatriotic (or insert your own label here) I would say this: I am an American.
To be able to ask questions is basic to what being an American means to me. Sometimes hard questions must be asked such as why has the executive branch done everything in it's power to block investigations of the terror attacks of 911? Why are there no al-Qaeda leaders at Guantanamo Bay, yet the US military allowed 3,000 to 4,000, perhaps 8,000, ISI and al Qaeda to escape to Pakistan? Why are Pakistan and Saudi Arabia our allies in the so-called war on terror when they are known supporters of Islamic Fanatics? It does not make any sense, unless I go somewhere where few seemingly dare to tread. Ineptitude too often is a mask for complicity. Maybe I should not ask questions after all. You know what happened to people who asked questions during the Inquisition or in Nazi Germany perhaps. Out of all of this one thing seams clear: the current administration has used 911 to justify doing what it already wanted to do. Namely invade any nation anytime starting with Afghanistan and further introduce a police state crackdown domestically. War in Iraq? No one can convince me that a nation that has been devastated by several wars and almost 12 years of economic sanctions could possibly pose a threat to us. The mainstream media has been telling us that anyone who is anti-war is obviously pro-Saddam. Nothing could be further from the truth. This is just another example of how the mainstream media has been infiltrated and eventually taken over by the military-industrial complex/Corporations. No longer can I watch "news" for more than a few minutes before I am shouting "liars" at the screen, whereas only 3-4 months ago I was being spoon-fed propaganda and coming back for more. I am an American and I support our troops, but the case for war has not been made. (To me supporting our troops means they should be brought back home where they belong.)
The war in Iraq and the war on terror, besides serving economic interests, provide a great distraction from the real war: the war on the American people. (Please do not confuse that statement with US arrogance or nationalism. I stand for the freedom of all of the Earth’s people, but the American populace is the main target of this editorial.) Why do we have fluoride in our water supply? The first implementation of fluoridated water was by the Nazi's in their death/prison camps to sterilize and subdue the prisoners. According to the Fluoride Action Network, 98% of western Europe has rejected fluoridation. Also the chemical used to fluoridate water is an industrial waste product from the phosphate fertilizer industry. It is an unprocessed hazardous waste contaminated with arsenic and other toxins. Fluoride is a poison that causes serious adverse health effects as it causes cancer, changes bone structure and strength, causes birth defects and lowers IQ. We must recognize this for what it is: a chemical assault. Also a major threat to our health is genetically engineered food. Many nations in the world have rejected biotech foods. Polls show that 90%+ Americans favor labeling of genetically modified organisms yet The Campaign to Label Genetically Engineered Foods has met with little success. Montsano (responsible for PCB's, dioxin and Agent Orange), leads the world in the creation of genetically engineered food. After a quick web search and some reading you will come to the same conclusion I have: these people do not have our best interests in mind. Once again health takes a back seat to the corporate bottom line. From forced contaminated vaccinations, to massive drugging of the populace, to suppression of natural and holistic medicines/practices the medical mafia paints the same picture. Yes there are those few times when medical intervention is a necessity, but if most of the population knew that the human body can recover from almost anything on it's own, modern medicine would not be the huge business it is. Another plague I see more often these days is the chemtrail phenomenon. Two weeks ago I went to work on a Sunday and in the period of say thirty minutes I saw about a dozen planes spraying chemtrails. No, I do not buy the official line that I am just seeing normal contrails. Contrails dissipate quite quickly but these chemtrails linger and spread out. And planes spraying chemtrails are often times lower than they would need to be to create contrails. Researchers have analyzed what has fallen after chemtrail spraying and have found aluminum, biological material, and other substances. And some have uncovered secret aerosol spraying projects. Here is a government document that calls for chemtrail spraying to be banned. Whatever is being sprayed on us it is without our consent and therefore criminal activity. Taken together this information reveals a subtle agenda that is openly practiced militarily in other parts of the world: namely genocide.
It is not my intention to demonize the United Nations. Their own blue helmets (so-called peace keepers) do that quite well enough without any help. I would suggest not placing too much faith in the UN without some major reforms to that organization. Also a southern Texas sheriff is warning the public that unidentified armed men dressed in military fatigues have been spotted on numerous occasions in his county near the border with Mexico.
Faced with the facts it is time to extrapolate where this is leading. What the World Bank, the WTO, and the IMF have been doing to developing third world countries and others, they are doing here also. Bastions of globalization promise milk and honey while privatizing water and energy supplies. Add to this pay cuts and tax hikes and you will get riots in the streets. In fact they even write that part into their plans. Research experts are now saying our economy could implode in the next six to nine months. Then after being faced with millions killed in bio/chem/nuclear attacks we can be safely herded onto reservations (FEMA relocation centers) like our native relations. Implanted with microchips we will be ready for whatever forced labor is put before us. Thankfully this is not the only alternative. We often hear that psychological warfare operations are designed to target the hearts and minds of it's recipients. If we take back our hearts and minds we have a fighting chance. We must find ways to combat the mass mind control we are being subjected to, individually and collectively. We can win this war, once we realize who the enemy is and subsequently refuse to cooperate. Cowering in fear or licking boots will not bring our freedoms back. We must take a stand and openly speak out against these injustices. The future of our children and grandchildren is at stake. Let's take this planet back.
